How long does it take for my resume to be ready?
As we are usually booked in advance, seven to ten working days upon receipt of all relevant information . An express service is available whereby documents can be ready within 24-48 hours for an additional charge. We recommend you contact our offices prior to ordering if in any doubt as to turnaround time and meeting deadlines.
What is the Cost?
Most resumes are between $299 and $500. This includes extensive data collection and forensic questioning to gain the information we need, a CV on CD, bound copies and print outs of CV and our 30 day guarantee.
Can you write a Selection Criteria for me?
Yes, and in fact Andrea has written many selection criteria over the years. Prices for these are $55 per question or dot point other than obvious questions such as "Must have First Aid Certificate". See Selection Criteria
Do you give any discounts?
Discounts are only provided for those clients who request more than one CV – discounts may be given on application in these circumstances. However, Andrea is usually booked in advance for at least two weeks. For this reason she does not issue discounts, please do not ask as she does not wish to cause offence!
What do I do about References?
Most potential employers like to have at least two to three referees given. Listing more referees has the benefit that if it is difficult to track down one of your referees, one of the additional names may be attempted. The statement "References are available upon request" is best if you do not wish to give out details of your current employment, that way you can resign and ask for a verbal reference at the same time. However, other references can be included.
If you were self employed, give names and contact details of two or three clients.
What are your Terms and Conditions?
Information must be received allowing enough time for us to write the document. Work cannot start until this is received. So our deadlines as stated previously (5-7 working days for regular orders, and 24-48 business hours for express orders) do not commence until adequate and correct information is received. Please note, if information is not received within 14 days of request, your order will be "archived" and listed as dormant. In these circumstances, to clear the way for other projects and enable effective time management, your order will be refunded on a 50% basis - that is 50% of the fee will be returned to you and your order cancelled. Information received in 18 hours or less prior to deadline incurs 2 x express fees per document.
No orders can be processed in a faster turnaround time than 12 hours, for quality and professional integrity reasons.
Please note, due to the quality of our documents and the success gained by clients as a result of our services, we do ask for information from you. This includes cover letters, Resumes and Selection Criteria. We will not lie, or fabricate your answers. If you do not feel you can provide this information such as situational examples in the case of a selection criteria (refer selection criteria page) unfortunately we cannot work with you. However we will provide samples and will attempt to prompt you as much as possible.
Only 0.5% of our customers ever seek a refund. Once refunded, customers will not be extended future services. Refunds are not given in cases where the client has failed to forward information to us - other than in line with the above policy of a 50% refund due to lack of client response.
All refunds incur a $70 administration fee.
All documents are subject to two drafts, plus a final approval by client, prior to CD, bound copy and laser printout package being posted. Should we not hear from a client within 14 days, we will send the resume package as is.
We have stringent quality control processes in house. All documents are checked by two separate writers. However, the final responsibility for checking, lies with the client.
