About Impressive Resumes


Andrea Drew formed Impressive Resumes in 1998 and the business has grown steadily over the last 10 years. It is an enjoyment of the English language, and a lifetime passion for writing, which she brings to the company, in the preparation and writing of resumes.  In her spare time (between midnight and 7am) she is putting the final touches to her latest book "Fill up your inbox with job offers" which will be released soon on this very website - stay tuned for further details

With a background in Human Resources and Recruitment, Andrea has worked in helping people with jobs since 1992. Her roles included: culling CV’s, arranging interviews, assessing resumes; writing marketing material;  writing tenders; editing, proofreading and rewriting large documents.    Andrea delivers resume workshops at Victorian Eastern Regional libraries www.erl.vic.gov.au and is a member of Career Directors International and the Association of Online Resume and Career Professionals.

Prior to joining Impressive Resumes as the Office Manager - Klaire Drury managed her husband's flooring business, whilst caring for their children.  Her work experience is extensive, having been an office professional for many years in the UK during the 80s and early 90s.  It is through this experience that Klaire gained an insight into many professions ranging from construction companies and basket importers; engineering companies manufacturing aeroplanes or turbines; warehouses and freight carriers/forwarders; battery manufacturers and accountancy companies; solicitors and doctors; to major pharmaceutical companies and government departments.  Her business experience is diverse, and Klaire knows more than a little about lots of jobs. 

With a flair for language and presentation, Klaire not only knows what sounds good, but what looks good too.  Her keen eye for detail, creative panache and versatile knowledge is intuitively used when writing your resume and it is with these qualities, honed to perfection, she can produce a resume that you will be proud of.

As Office Manager, Klaire's duties and skills are wide, ranging from answering your enquiries, to writing and editing resumes, proof reading, book keeping, managing and supervising writers, resolving technical issues, and ensuring business systems are implemented and running smoothly.

Peter Simpson has 30 years experience as a management consultant and trainer.  He has consulted hundreds of large and small companies and delivered lectures and seminars to thousands of people throughout Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Phillipines, the Caribbean and USA.  Additionally he has delivered lectures at major Asian Universities and Australian schools.

This work began whilst employed as an internal consultant within major Australian companies.  It was during this period that Peter twice won the Kodak Quality Award for assisting Kodak Australia to improve the most inefficient division worldwide, to the most efficent.  Peter concentrated on the personal aspects of organisation.  He found that companies flourish when executives and staff members are given positions that best suit their inherent talents, interests and abilities.

In 1990 Peter established a management consulting company, Organisation Technology, to assist company owners, executives, employees and university and high school students to discover their true purpose in life.  

When a person knows their true purpose in life, career choices and other life decisions are simple and rewarding.  Too often people make choices based on what they are supposed to do rather than on what they truly want to do.  After too many wrong choices, a person loses sight of their true purpose and real goals.
