Recently, due to her expertise, and industry longevity Andrea has been asked to complete several tenders and professional governmental proposals. This have been primarily for Industrial services in the electrical, commercial cleaning and fencing industries. However, she does not specialise in a particular industry, rather, she applies her specialist writing skill to the writing of tenders, with successful results!
These have been facilitated professionally, simply and successfully, with two of her clients recently gaining large government contracts. How was this possible? Well, firstly, Andrea has been writing "selection criteria" or government submissions since 1998. As such, she is well acquainted with wading through lengthy, complex documentation, assessment and collectino of relevant information and how to address selection criteria when securing a coveted government position or contract.
These skills have been transferred, into a new service whereby she has successfully deciphered the request for tender documentation, able to then guide the client, requesting the most pertinent and relevant facts from them (usually via either Skype, telephone or email/fax) to write a professional and persuasive tender document.
In fact, her professionally written documents are so well written that she recently received the following comment from the proprietor of a commercial cleaning company:
Hi Andrea Just thought we would write a quick note to thank you for your professional service and to let you know that we were successful with all four cleaning contracts and the starting date is 13/7/09. We will not hesitate in referring clients your way in the future. Once again thanks. Cheers P & D, Commercial Cleaning Co, Victoria, Australia
Upon calling "P" I discovered that the panel had told him that the tender document was "extremely well written" and was a primary factor in awarding the tender to this company. As a result, P felt that his fee to write the tender was money well spent, particularly as the contract itself had a value of $140,000
Not bad return I think personally, particularly considering the cost of writing the tender can hopefully also be claimed as a business expense!
Similarly, a tender for fencing for a large tract of rural land, was submitted recently with a value of half a million dollars. Considering the client is a small business owner, this could quite literally make his business, causing it to expand at a rapid rate.
Wouldn’t you like the same success for your business?
To purchase a tendering product please email andrea (andrea@impressiveresumes.com.au) attaching the RFT document, and she will provide you with a price. This can vary depending on complexity of RFT documentation, and individual requirements which also can vary, however as an approximate guide, prices are around 1-2% of proposed contract value
